The 2nd Jan “Two Hands are a lot” blog post has some truly radical ideas inside it. But well enough hidden that most journalists seem to have missed them.
The big radical ideas lie in the synthesis of ideas for presenting information and the effects this could have how people think. The implications for policy and decision making are enormous. Not only in government – but across commerce and wider society.
Paper has been the dominant medium for centuries. And the static printed medium limits thinking. Society hasn’t yet grasped how “dynamic” information release could change the possibilities.
The journey is just beginning. And serious thinkers, experts in software, AI and misfits whom a paper based society struggles to value have a huge contribution to make.
